Turn school time into hockey development for your child

Caledonia Park School is pleased to be offering a unique opportunity for students starting in September 2026. The Leduc Hockey Academy gives Grade 5 to 7 students the opportunity to develop their hockey skills during the school day.  No added evenings, and no travelling required.

WHAT IS THE LEDUC HOCKEY ACADEMY?

The Leduc Hockey Academy is a new program designed for students in Grades 5 to 7 who want to build their hockey skills while continuing their regular academic learning.

Students will participate in structured, on-ice skill development as part of their school experience, combining education with physical activity in a meaningful and engaging way.

Students will participate in hockey classes on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, during option time. They will not miss academic instruction.


WHO WILL WORK WITH STUDENTS?
Caledonia Park School is partnering with Serdachny Power Skating and Hockey, an Edmonton based company, to provide expert skill instruction. With National Hockey League experience at their fingertips through the partnership, the Leduc Hockey Academy is set to deliver high-quality skill development.

This program is designed to support both students and parents.

LOCATION

The Hockey Academy will practice at the Leduc Recreation Centre.

Transportation: 

  • Bussing to the arena will be provided from August to February

Parents will be responsible for the drop-off and pick-up of equipment each morning / evening of the program. 



LIMITED AVAILABILITY

As a new program, space may be limited.

Families interested in learning more are encouraged to express interest early.
