ONLINE PAYMENT AVAILABLE FOR SCHOOL AND TRANSPORTATION FEES

We use a fee management system called Acorn to streamline school and transportation fee payment processes for families and school administrators. Acorn is accessible through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. With a few simple mouse clicks families can view assessed fees, print receipts and account statements, and pay for all of their children in a single transaction.

If you are a family with several children at multiple schools, they will all appear together under your account.

Please refer to the Online Payment Parent User Guide for instructions on how to log into the PowerSchool Parent Portal and pay school fees online.

WHAT DO I NEED TO MAKE PAYMENTS ONLINE?

You will need a PowerSchool Parent account. If you currently have an account, you will use the same username and password to login to the Acorn Online Payments website.

SECURING A POWERSCHOOL ACCOUNT

If you do not have a PowerSchool Parent account, please contact the office for information on how to set up an account.

WHAT ARE THE METHODS OF ONLINE PAYMENT?

You can pay with Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, and Interac Online Debit

WHICH FEES CAN BE PAID ONLINE?

Fees for optional courses, transportation fees for ineligible students, activity fees (field trips), extra-curricular fees and non-curricular travel are all examples of fees that can be paid online. Payments for sale of school items such as yearbooks and school “spirit wear” can also be made online.

HOW DO I MAKE AN ONLINE PAYMENT?

1. Log in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal – https://powerschool.blackgold.ca/public
2. Click on the link ‘Student Fees and Forms’ in the sidebar navigation menu
3. Review your child’s fees
4. Add any additional items to your shopping cart
5. Checkout and pay for student fees

PAYING OFFLINE

If you wish to pay offline, you must still create a PowerSchool Parent Portal. Once you can see your child’s data in your account, you can then pay via cheque or cash at your school.

SHOULD YOUR FAMILY BE EXPERIENCING FINANCIAL DIFFICULTIES, PLEASE MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE PRINCIPAL TO DISCUSS THE SITUATION AND POSSIBLE ALTERNATIVE SOLUTIONS.
