See the attached newsletter for more information on topics, dates, times, and registration.

    • Caregiver Education Sessions

In January, we will be offering a two-part Lunch & Learn series on ‘Sleep and Your Family’s Mental Health’ where we will discuss the importance of sleep hygiene and how we can ‘set the stage’ for good sleep. We will also be offering an evening session, ‘Body Image and Eating Disorders’ for parents and caregivers of teens at the end of the month.

    • Adult Education Sessions

In February, we will be offering our 4-part Lunch & Learn series, ‘Understanding Anxiety’ where we will discuss what anxiety is, when it becomes a problem, and ways that we can calm our bodies, settle our minds, and overcome avoidance.  We will also be offering an evening session for adults and parents of teens on ‘Substance Use: A Harm Reduction Approach’.

    • Child and Adolescent Addiction & Mental Health Education Resource Library

On our website, you will find additional resource links to a variety of community websites, webinars, handouts, and modules on addiction and mental health topics pertaining to children and youth. These resources were gathered and reviewed by a mental health professional as part of the Building Service Capacity for Child and Adolescent Mental Health in Primary Care and Pediatrics project in partnership with Alberta Health Services, the Edmonton Zone Primary Care Networks, and CASA Mental Health.
